Georgia is a Speech and Language Therapist at Better Days who supports children and teenagers with complex communication needs across London. She has a strong interest in understanding each child’s unique communication profile and enjoys looking beyond surface-level difficulties to explore the underlying reasons behind communication challenges and how brain-based processes shape development.
Her approach to speech and language therapy is flexible and child-led, using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), play-based strategies, and oral-motor skill development. Georgia is particularly passionate about supporting non-speaking children to communicate in meaningful ways and works closely with families, listening carefully and adapting support to fit each child’s individual needs.
Georgia provides speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for children, teenagers and young adults across clinic, school and home settings. She develops evidence-based intervention plans, prepares progress and review reports, and collaborates with Occupational Therapists, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, family-centred care.
She holds a Master of Science in Language Sciences (Specialisation in Language Development) from University College London and a Bachelor’s in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Western Greece. Georgia is fluent in both English and Greek.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys running, going to the gym and drawing.
Together, Georgia and the Better Days team are helping children, young people and adults across Greater London achieve the communication goals that matter most to them.
