Dedicated to making a difference
Better Days is a values-driven community allied health provider dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan with person-centred, evidence-based therapy.
The Better Days story
Our story begins in Australia before bringing Better Days to the United Kingdom!
Rachel Brimblecombe, a qualified occupational therapist, was working as a university lecturer when she grew disappointed with the quality of care provided for community allied health.
She envisioned bringing together like-minded allied health professionals dedicated to providing the highest level of care. People who genuinely loved what they did and wanted to achieve outstanding results for the individuals in their care.
After establishing Better Days in Australia, Rachel’s desire to expand this support to the United Kingdom led her to forming Better Days alongside fellow occupational therapist Sarah Bourne.
Today, Better Days is revolutionising allied health provision in the UK, with a passionate team of occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and physiotherapists who love what they do and are supported to deliver high-quality, timely care and enjoy rewarding careers.

Meet Better Days UK National Manager, Sarah Bourne
The Better Days team is lead by National Manager Sarah Bourne, an experienced occupational therapist passionate about providing children living in the United Kingdom with faster, high-quality evidence-based care.
While working in the NHS, Sarah became aware of the difficulties families faced in accessing services in a timely manner due to long waitlists. Motivated to help families in need, Sarah started Better Days and created a highly specialised multidisciplinary team focused on providing timely services to families in the UK. “We have an exceptional team of allied health professionals all under one roof in south-west London – clinicians who are compassionate and supportive and strive to make meaningful connections with everyone in our care. For us, collaboration is key to providing the best community-based services to achieve positive health outcomes,” says Sarah.
