Allied health services with EHCP funding
Better Days’ provide support with assessment and completion of EHCP reports – these include a functional assessment with a clear indication of occupational therapy needs, frequency and duration, and estimated cost of supports.
Understanding EHCP funding
Schools in the UK receive SEN funds and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) funding to help meet the needs of students who have a special education need or disability, such as autism, dyslexia and Down syndrome.
An EHCP plan outlines the specific educational, health, and social care needs of a child or young person with SEN.
This includes the support a child requires to meet their needs and the outcomes expected from that support. Funding allocated in the Plan can be used to cover a range of services, including occupational therapy.

What is an EHC plan?
